Thanks to the events of September 11, 2001 everyone worldwide have knowledge of the twin towers that once stood as a jewel in the neck of New York. What was once the World Trade Center is now the National September 11 Memorial and Museum that pays tribute to all those who lost their lives in one of the most terrifying incidents in history.

Of course there are other happy places in Lower Manhattan that might attract your attention. For instance, you can stroll around China town or Little Italy to get an idea of how the initial settlers of our Nation had their beginnings in the new found land.
